3. Client Responsibilities

As a client of CasaLineaStudio, you agree to:

  • Make timely payments: Pay all fees and deposits according to the agreed payment schedule
  • Facilitate access: Provide reasonable access to the project site during business hours
  • Communicate promptly: Respond to communications and decisions in a timely manner
  • Respect professional advice: Consider design recommendations while maintaining final decision authority

4. Fees and Payment

Fee Structure

Our fees are structured as follows:

  • Consultation Fee: Initial consultation fee as quoted
  • Design Fee: Based on project scope and complexity
  • Project Management: Percentage of total project cost or flat fee
  • Additional Services: Billed separately as agreed

Payment Terms

  1. Deposit: 50% deposit required to begin design work
  2. Progress Payments: Payments due at project milestones
  3. Final Payment: Balance due upon project completion
  4. Late Payments: Late payments subject to 1.5% monthly interest

Refund Policy

Deposits are non-refundable once design work has commenced. Refunds for additional services will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5. Project Timeline and Delays

Timelines

We will provide estimated project timelines based on project scope. These timelines are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Client decision-making speed
  • Material availability and shipping
  • Contractor scheduling and performance
  • Unforeseen site conditions
  • Changes in project scope

Delays

CasaLineaStudio is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, supplier delays, or client-requested changes.

6. Intellectual Property

Design Ownership

  • Conceptual Designs: CasaLineaStudio retains ownership of all conceptual designs until full payment is received
  • Final Designs: Upon full payment, design rights transfer to the client for the specific project
  • Portfolio Rights: CasaLineaStudio retains the right to use completed projects in our portfolio and marketing materials
  • Template Designs: We retain ownership of all template designs and reusable elements

Usage Restrictions

Designs may not be reproduced, modified, or used for other properties without explicit written permission from CasaLineaStudio.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:

  • Client personal information and preferences
  • Project details and specifications
  • Financial information and agreements
  • Proprietary design methods and processes

8. Limitation of Liability

Design Services

CasaLineaStudio provides design recommendations and guidance. Final decisions regarding materials, contractors, and implementation remain with the client.

Liability Limitations

Our liability is limited to:

  • Design fees paid for the specific project
  • Direct damages resulting from professional negligence
  • We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages
  • We are not responsible for contractor work or product failures

9. Termination of Services

Client Termination

Clients may terminate services with:

  • 30 days written notice
  • Payment for all work completed to date
  • Payment for any non-refundable deposits or materials ordered

CasaLineaStudio Termination

We may terminate services for:

  • Non-payment of fees
  • Breach of contract terms
  • Unethical or illegal requests
  • Failure to provide necessary project access

10. Website Use

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website for lawful purposes only. Prohibited activities include:

  • Copying or redistributing website content without permission
  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Using automated tools to scrape website data
  • Interfering with website functionality or security

Content Accuracy

11. Third-Party Services
